YomaBarr Noble and worthy gems can still be found down under. The bass is sick.
The message is sick too.

creamingmoose Fuckin awesome. I really digged To Reflect, Lack of Substance and Emerging. I can't pick a favorite between those three songs. I also thoroughly enjoyed those moments where all instrumental stops and it's just bass, with those danke Acrania like riffs. Keen for the future lads, keep up the good shit!

With a heavy heart I had declared my defeat Done pretending I was fine Done with empty smiles Toes hung at the edge Toes hung at the edge Devoid of functionality Lost touch with reality No connection to really speak of Why couldn’t I let my face be shown I could not let myself be known From behind the curtain I cast the very first stone Dreadful being bring me home I couldn’t make it on my own Could never focus on my health Breeding anger towards thine self Let none dwell within silent ‘til these petty thoughts win I now know better than to feed the beast The beast within us all, the ultimate foe Every day’s a battle, deafening and sick I’m not afraid To lose myself Forever free Remember me with a fist deep in the dirt, and a middle finger raised I reclaim purpose, and who I used to be One step at a time Treading carefully Over the thin ice that is life But with logic, reason and persistent strength These feelings will die Along with my hatred of human kind This is a revelation in itself No more denial Exerting only truth, Self-revolution In my shaky hands The fall, So tempting New Found Conviction, obtained Old fears of change, now distant Let none dwell within silent ‘til these petty thoughts win I now know better than to feed the beast The beast within us all, the ultimate foe Every day’s a battle, deafening and sick

Trail 03:53
Scratches line the halls With fingers reduced to bone The screams of the isolated echo the halls Knowing they care not for your health But for the procurement of wealth Objected to inhumane experiments The familiar stench of waste And when the doctors come They grin and have their fun Sucking life from those they’ve easily undone Crying out in protest Shock treatments rampant Crying out in protest Plans develop in their much-affected minds One is thinking of his father The cruel and unkind monster That condemned him to this place Swearing one day, to make his escape “I’m coming for you, to end your wretched life” “I’m coming for you, to end your wretched life” This institution has many flaws Vents loose, unlike the steel doors He kicks one in, and climbs on through His desire will come true Spiders trail his body While Never paying mind to sting of venom Feeling the outside air For the first time in years On his feet again, sprinting as far as he can To return to his former home And upon arrival, seeks out mortal justice Putting an end to this torture In that moment, his mother screaming He knows the end has come With his mind at ease and the venom flowing Rests his body, eternally. Crying out in protest Shock treatments rampant Crying out in protest Plans develop in their much-affected minds

Oblique shades, envelop Empty thoughts, ever present Oblique shades, envelop Descent begins Glass eyes feel nothing Unable to relate to the ties of existence Layers, continue to form Of disconnected indifference Submission, the only option In a sea of lost conviction The hollow vessel remains.

To Reflect 05:49
Trembling hands hold the picture frame Tears fall upon the glass In the reflection, a lonely old man Trying to find within, restraint from total breakdown Envying ideals of youth For they are a stark reminder Of a time chosen not to reflect Of time in service And the repercussions Sleepless nights, dreamless sleep All the time in the world to think Yet remembers less everyday Memories come in waves The onset of decay Knowing hope will fade Knowing hope will fade Remembers less everyday The onset of decay The workers present The most precious possession The last link to familiarity long gone And so a vision creeps of mother Holding the tiny hands of the brother Looking upon the face of new life And in wake 20 years reverse Trembling hands hold the picture frame Tears fall upon the glass In the reflection A lonely old man Trying to find within, restraint from total breakdown Envying ideals of youth For they are a stark reminder Of a time chosen not to reflect Of his beloved Once held in his arms “Where is Gloria?!” She sits in acceptance In acceptance Stroking old strands of grey Saying “everything will be fine” And then she disappears Into the frozen night Screeching for his wife The end of his fading life He knows, its time

Pipe-in-hand Curling smoke Light shines through isolation So blinding, yet hypnotizing Filled with false knowledge The smell of burning sulphur Distracts from the sound of children They need help now, more than ever To pave a solid path to their future Waving them off, taking another hit Into another world she goes This is the portrait of descent The smell of burning sulphur Distracts from the sound of the world There was once purpose A voice to lead a generation Reduced to nothing Reduced to nothing But skin, bone And festering scars The husband a staggering drunk Abusive and arrogant The cane, his only friend Pipe-in-hand Curling smoke Light shines through isolation So blinding, yet hypnotizing The offspring of an overachiever Never enough to impress Never to impress Labelled a fiend, A drop-kick, dead beat Failure of a mother With blacked out rotten teeth Yearning for help Rehabilitation, in sight If she can make it through the night While His weakened mind is screaming, Dependant on substance To sooth and ease the pain To rot and kill the brain

Emerging 02:49
Pushed into a corner so tormented Given daily beatings Shouting at the ceiling For a hint of a feeling Psychotic vermin, create a victim everyday Can you see the subtle desperation on their face? Hate breeds hate breeds Hate breeds hate breeds Hate breeds hate breeds Hate breeds hate This particular victim won't go down today Creativity unbound Standing out amongst the crowd Such a beautiful mind Overcoming everything Where are the tormentors now? Such a beautiful mind Overcoming everything Where are the tormentors now? Befriended, feeling mass excitement A new chapter is written A new perspective emerges Shifting philosophies Progressive discussion Transformation of mind Changed cognitive design
