lyrics
The hourglass spins upon the pendulum
Everlasting ticks drill into the skull
As the days start to dull
Anxiety rising
Best to act now, fore this horror enshrouds
Is this sentiment
Borne of such blatant hysteria?
call to gods
For the body rot
Save us from holds that grow tighter in time
These tired hands begin to crack
A mind, once so sharp
Now all but ash
Cold embrace
Feelings with a familiar face for all to see
Come to resonate, subjugate
Withdrawing the life that we know
Washed away
Amongst the sands
Thrown beside the bodies
Of which we spent life hand-in-hand
Before the pressure
Before the rain
Flushed away
Not so long before the rapture
What vision to behold
Still image froze to capture
Fore the ice comes to cover our souls
The resistance to shame
The persistence of memory
So stuck in our ways
Lost in our empathy
What is there to fear?
It's only a matter of decay
There is nought but an end

Tbh I typically stay away from "tech death" bands. Seems like majority of bands now lack the melody and groove that used to be present when this shit was really gaining light. These guys are tight and technical but very groovy. It's like if Decapitated, Faceless and Soreption had a baby. Great work guys!!! rodentsnatch

This is probably the most melodic Death Metal album I've ever heard. Not really in the Melo-Death sense tho. It follows more progressive and technical flavors with its riffs and leads. But the riffs are often big and memorable as well as the solo's. There is just as much melody and bending as any shred therein.
One of the most memorable Death Metal albums of all time! They've crafted all the parts in equal measure for a complete and exciting Metal work. Salami Dick Death
