lyrics
This realm, so broken
Scattered forth is a spread of glass and sand
These souls cracked open
For resistance from the chains of their command
The spoils, now rotten
Slithering through these idle hands
The Vines now woven
Forming a Web for the dead to land
Such a lonely view, basking in portraits of utopia
With not a whisper to behold
Encapsuled hysteria
We thought we'd scratched the surface
But only came to break our nails
There is a corpse in the pipes below
And the lingering stench, so sour
As the sun prepares to sleep
Hope dies in the blink of an eye
From the void comes the gnashing teeth ,
Now you see the lies of the once-divine
Weak attempts to find shelter
In these barren Plains, no fortune
Sandswept dreams fall to the sword
Empty entities roam, these idol figures
Stripped of essence
One must possess rigorous violent instinct
The order hath been told in pages lined with tar and desperation
Spoken in the tongue of the reclamation
This realm, so broken
Scattered forth is a spread of glass and sand
These souls cracked open
For resistance from the chains of their command
The spoils, now rotten
Slithering through these idle hands
The Vines now woven
Forming a Web for the dead to land
Apocalypse is an understatement
This salted soil, our new sustenance
Savour the taste
For its all we can trust
As our dreams crumble to dust
Open part:
These jaded bones
Grow weary
As the dread begins to set
All but one life comes to end
Falling ever faster
Into the void
Into the void
No peace in this lonely death
No home for this head to rest
Withered
Ashen
Propagation denied
No space for roots to reach
No tongues for a chance to speak
Ghost planet, haunting itself from the inside
And only one shall witness the end
Weve become one with the dead

Tbh I typically stay away from "tech death" bands. Seems like majority of bands now lack the melody and groove that used to be present when this shit was really gaining light. These guys are tight and technical but very groovy. It's like if Decapitated, Faceless and Soreption had a baby. Great work guys!!! rodentsnatch

This is probably the most melodic Death Metal album I've ever heard. Not really in the Melo-Death sense tho. It follows more progressive and technical flavors with its riffs and leads. But the riffs are often big and memorable as well as the solo's. There is just as much melody and bending as any shred therein.
One of the most memorable Death Metal albums of all time! They've crafted all the parts in equal measure for a complete and exciting Metal work. Salami Dick Death
